The first car to come out of the 50-50 : TATA - Fiat joint venture has debuted and its the Palio Stile. Pronounciation ~ [Stee-lay]. The Palio Stile will be launched tomorrow in Mumbai. The car will be manufactured in their Ranjanagaon facility here in Maharashtra.
The Ranjanagaon car plant is going to be one of the biggest and is owned jointly by Tata - Fiat in a bid to up their market share. The unit will soon be capable of delivering more than 2,00,000 engines and transmissions for both the car makers as early as 2008.
The rejuvenated Palio Stile comes with a 1.1 litre engine and 70% of the car is assembled with parts manufactured in India. The car plan currently can only make about 30/ day but that will increase as they up the capacity by the year end.

I have been waiting to purchaes car and planning for awwagon r but still i want to have at least test ride fiat palio to VASU MOTORS Meerut but they dont entertain me and told me straight no piece of fiat palio.I have just now sold fiat premium padmani and still i want to purchase only fiat despite its poor service network.
