Mahindra & Mahindra has finally launched their first joint venture car with Renault. The Renault Logan was launched in Mumbai today for a price of 4.28 lakh for the petrol variant.
The Mahindra Renault Logan diesel will be priced at around 5.47 lakh which is pretty steep compared to the others in the same segmenet. The company plans to manufacture 50 thousand units of the Logan from its Maharashtra plant which cost them about 7 billion rupees to make.
The Renault Logan is the first right hand car drive from the European car maker and ofcourse its first car in India.

Hi…persons who are looking for a practical,spacious, no nonsense, value for money car, you must go in for Logan - Autocar has given the verdict recently for logan - 4 Star rating to match with verna, fiesta rating. You just cant compare logan to Ikon or esteem or accent, as these cars are getting dated. You have a clear 50k saving compared to fiesta. You get almost everything in 1.6 petrol except electrically operated rear mirror and remote boot opening. The drive is class of its own. Ride and handling are the best in its class. Interiors are not posh as that of accent or fiesta but much bearable. Looks might not make people turn their heads but this can be overcome with huge spacing, quality drive and value for money. Overall a value for money car.

Definite value for money car,
This car is definetely not head turner. However a practical, sensible, more car for the small price. Space is a big plus for this car (A clear 3 seater in the rear). Though single reverse lamp, manual boot release, non-electrical operated rear mirror, poor ergonomics etc are some of the negatives, I feel this car makes a sensible buy, great value for money

I want to buy the Mahindra logan but there is no dealer so what is the use insted of that I would prefer to buy MAruti Hundai and Tata cars who have a strong dealed network in small towns. I had a ford Icon I sold it due to service problem so if you want to save money and buy cars which have no dealer you will have big service problems so do not buy the Mahindra logan unless ther is a full fledge dealer

i really like logan it true value for your money.it is very comfort to ride.it has really agreat look on roads no need to worry about service mahindra is promoting the vehicle renult is an excelent company . and the car won more than four awards with in this short period.logan petrol vertion offers a milage of 14-15km /liter and diseal offers a milage of 25-27km/liter petrol cost 5lakh20000

I have purchased Logan in diesel top model in june 07. I m totally dissatisfies with the services they provide and the quality of the vehicle. Now I think that i have waste my money. 1. there is cracking sound comes when we on the A.C. 2. Within 9 months there arise problem in stearing. 3. All doors adjustment are not proper. after adjusting, they create sound within 2 days. 4. In my car right hand rear gate never open from inside. 5. There Service quality is very-2- 2- poor. I purchased it from sri Durga Automobiles, Delhi, till date i could not receive my R.c.
6. Mileage in A.c is just 17km/l. I will not recommend any body to waste their hardened money in buying this car, unless they improve their quality of prod. & services.

My car has completed app.23500 KM. All three free services has done but quality of services is very poor. I Don’t think that the lower staff who do the service has got any technical knowledge.
I have written this complaint after suffering a lot from their authorised service centers.
