Tata has come out with the TATA Safari Dicor with a 2.2 Litre diesel engine. The VX Model will cost about Rs. 1,311,106/- as a total onroad cost. The price for this car ex showroom is close to 10.3 lakhs.
The EX comes with accessories like -
DVD Player, Mounted LCD on front seats.
Dual airbags for front seats, ABS, and rear view camera with LCD display.
The seating is very comfortable with Beige leather seats and wood finish central dashboard.
Caparo group plans to enter the Indian auto market in the next 2 to 3 years with a ‘city car’. Lord Swaraj Paul, the founder of the company was quoted saying the same at the FICCI event in Delhi.
The Caparo T1 is a racing car which will be showcased in India next year and the performance of that car is as good as a Formula1 racing car.
The sports car from Caparo is a two seater vehicle with power of 1,045 bhp-per-tonne, and it is lightweight and the chassis is constructed of advanced composite materials. The car weighs only 550kg.
Maruti has plans to launch the Swift sedan with the new-generation 1.3-litre diesel engine and a 1.3-litre petrol version early next year. Sources say that this could be as early as January. The car will be priced lower than the Maruti SX4 sedan which is above 6 lakhs.
Maruti claim that the Swift Sedan will cost about 5.5 lakhs ex-showroom. This car is due to replace the ever popular Maruti Esteem in the long run and once this model has been fully launched the Esteem is definitely going to be phased out of the market.
